Unable to connect Bluetooth

I just received my adapter and will not connect to either Android or IOS tablets. It flashes blue then red and back to blue.  I haven’t had any issues connecting to other BT devices. I thought this would be great to have but maybe it will be more trouble.

If the 'connect to last adapter' option is selected in SETTINGS, you'll need to turn that OFF after an update to your adapter - until you have successfully connected the first time.
You did say you 'just got it back'.
